Alena Adamíková a študenti katedry maľby a iných médií, štúdio ± XXI, VŠVU - Eva Böhmová, Csilla Poláková, Lucia Sčeránková

Alena Adamíková je asistentkou prof. Daniela Fischera na VŠVU a vo svojej tvorbe sa venuje témam ako identita, mediľudské vzťahy, banalita. Pracuje s portrétom, hlavne s ľudskou tvárou a gestom. Eva Böhmová, Csilla Poláková, Lucia Sceranková, ktoré boli prizvané k spolupráci na projekte, sú študentkami v ateliéri ± XXI.

Inštalácia Meeting point, ktorú vytvoria pre Mobile Studios, reaguje na samotné miesto projektu - námestie SNP, ktoré zohralo významnú úlohu v slovenskej histórii, ako dejisko demonštrácii, veľkých zhromaždení a protestov. Práve myšlienka anonymného davu je aj témou inštalácie Meeting point. Návštevník vchádza do labyrintu úzkych uličiek, aby tam objavil médiom sprostredkovaný pohľad na toho druhého a zároveň možno aj na seba.

Alena Adamikova is an assistant of prof. Daniel Fisher at the Department of painting of AFAD, Bratislava, and in her artistic works treats topics like identity, relationships, and banality. She works with portrait, human face and gesture. Eva Bohmova, Csilla Polakova and Lucia Scerankova, who were invited to participate, are students of the atelier ± XXI.

Installation created for Mobile Studios - Meeting point, relates directly to the physical space where the project is situated. The SNP square played an important role in the Slovak history as the site of many demonstrations, public gatherings and protests. The idea of anonymous crowd is also the theme of the installation. Visitors enter a labyrinth of narrow allies inside Live Studio to find there a mediated glance of someone else and maybe also of themselves.
