hello,
i just wanted to share couple of links connected to museums and "new media"
in the usa, with multiplace abandoning the title "new media"...

Closed Circuit: Video and New Media at the Metropolitan
http://www.metmuseum.org/special/se_event.asp?OccurrenceId={10EB55CD-C494-4E
96-839A-0747941683AB} that i had troubles to find there, as they put the
show in far corner of this giant museum and were a bit reluctant to promote
it (perhaps scared?).
it seems kind of old fashioned when museums as big slow elephants deal with
something like that, lots of times it is a video (except of, for example,
Jim Campbell

show)

interesting was to see some exciting stuff (also interactive) at the frame
of design

of course, the situation in the non for profit smaller organization or
galleries is different. it is just interesting to see the change of
accepting the "edgy" medium by museums - also as a valuable piece for the
collection.

all the best from rhode island,
