O Creative Commons, potrebnych zmenach, perspektive a ideovych hnutiach, ktore svoju siu nestavaju na vlastnictve myslienok si pride podebatovat viacero odbornikov z oblasti autoskeho prava, technologii a umenia.

Copyleft describes a group of licenses applied to works such as software, documents, music, and art. Whereas copyright law is as a way to restrict the right to make and redistribute copies of a particular work, a copyleft license uses copyright law in order to ensure that every person who receives a copy or derived version of a work can use, modify, and also redistribute both the work, and derived versions of the work. Creative Commons is partial copyleft license which provides a a flexible range of protections and freedoms for authors, artists, and educators. Since the license was written with the U.S. legal system in mind, there comes the issue of localization, addressed by the iCommons (International Commons) project. ITCHY BIT intends to do the Slovak localization of the CC, but not without first consulting the public. Hence we organize this discussion to which we plan to invite artists and lawyers alike, programmers and educators, in order to see what is the Slovak reflection of authorship and intellectual property and to see what technical issues this localization raises [from the point of view of law].
