BIOS is an audiovisual project formed in March 2010. The duo are former students of the Faculty of Arts TU (Kosice, Slovakia) Studio of Printmaking and experimental media: Boris Sirka (audio) and Jozef Tušan (visual). Conceptually, the BIOS tends to black metal, industrial, drone and dark ambient follows their visual, covers, corpsepaintings, horror, gothic and exorcism.
DFX (David Mozny) is a visual artist who has been involved with digital images in the past three years. He teaches at the Faculty Social Studies at Masaryk University in Brno and, as a VJ under nick dfx, performs in local clubs.
Hallogenerator is a multimedial electroperformance, in the spirit of old evergreens dressed in sound-era of 8-bit computers inspired by Alexej Shulgin's 386DX. Displaying contrast between the digital world of computers and biomorphic world of humans where both parties failing and winning at the same time in dark atmosphere of the unpredictable context. It is a utopian story of an old and unfortunate robot fallen in love with suspicious human girl, do not believe in the ability of machines. Specially prepared software generating audio and video in real time is running exclusively on open source software.
Klara Dolezalkova has performed several times with the experimental music group Kunst-ruch-ter as well as at the last year’s Multiplace in Bratislava. As a student of Audiovisual Studies at FAMU she works with various media.
Ocusonic aka Esoterica is an Irish composer/ audio visual artist based in Dublin. Ireland. He has released music under a number of pseudonyms for a variety of labels including Six Degrees San Fran and Plant NY, and his audio visual work has been screenedinternationally at numerous festivals. His current output is entirely audio visual and explores a disparate collection of methods and techniques for the creation of visual music. Underpinning all of these disciplines is Ocusonics, the real-time generation of synchronous audio and visual material.
Palo Fabuš is the culture publicist, critic and theorist. Not a journalist. His former interest in new media has progressively evolved into wide study of contemporary culture applying a variety of approaches such as sociology, media studies, art theory and philosophy. His research centers these days mostly on the relationship of ICT and evolution of cultural values, contemporary zeitgeist and perception of time.

Professor Peter Ronai is a prominent Slovak artist who works mostly with video-installations. He studied painting at AFAD in Bratislava (prof. J. Zelibsky, 1974), painting and graphic art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest and theory of photography at the same academy. In the years 1990-93, together with Julius Koller, he was a member of a group „New seriousness“. Today, he leads Video Atelier at the FaVU VUT in Brno. He also leads the Department of Artistic Communication at the Massmedia Communication Faculty at the University of Cyril and Method in Trnava.
Robin Fox is a Melbourne based sound and visual artist currently working with live digital media in improvised, composed and installation settings. He creates audio-visual works for the cathode ray oscilloscope, which have been released on the DVD ‘Backscatter’(synaesthesia records). The DVD has screened at the Rotterdam International Film Festival, the Mittwoschule in Berlin, the 8th International New Media Arts Festival in Riga and the TRANSIT festival Switzerland.
Live audiovisual performances have taken place across Europe including appearances at the Netmage festival, Bologna, the Wien Modern festival, Vienna, Noise and Glamour Festival, Moscow and the Transacoustic festival, Auckland. This work, in constant development, is currently being realised with a high-powered, audio controlled laser system with recent performances at the October Contemporary Festival (Hong Kong), Salamanca International Festival (Spain), Yokohama Triennial (Japan) and the Mona Fona Festival (Australia).
Tomas Hruza – since 1998 Hruza has been working with linear video, sound, interactive CD-ROMs, installations, programming. He started to discover „New media“ while studying at FaVU VUT in Brno at the atelier of Keiko Sei and Peter Ronai.
