The connection continues! The Multiplace team regularly and intensively evaluates the week-long media-art-marathon through concerts in Klub Fléda. This year’s Multiplace contribution to the thick irresistible line-up comes in the form of the Slovak A/V formation BIOS, who will present a post-metal remake of the documentary film Voda a práce (1963) [Water and work] by legendary director Martin Slivka. Popular hits in the Jakub Pišek Hallogenerator electro-show, sung by a robot in love.

BIOS is an audiovisual project formed in March 2010. The duo are former students of the Faculty of Arts TU (Kosice, Slovakia) Studio of Printmaking and experimental media: Boris Sirka (audio) and Jozef Tušan (visual). Conceptually, the BIOS tends to black metal, industrial, drone and dark ambient follows their visual, covers, corpsepaintings, horror, gothic and exorcism.

Hallogenerator is a multimedial electroperformance, in the spirit of old evergreens dressed in sound-era of 8-bit computers inspired by Alexej Shulgin's 386DX. Displaying contrast between the digital world of computers and biomorphic world of humans where both parties failing and winning at the same time in dark atmosphere of the unpredictable context. It is a utopian story of an old and unfortunate robot fallen in love with suspicious human girl, do not believe in the ability of machines. Specially prepared software generating audio and video in real time is running exclusively on open source software.
