Finis Terrae means the end of earth in Latin. It is a place where the earth ends and doubt begins. For the author of the exhibition, in a general sense it gives a name to the provisional position in which she tries to put the viewer via her video-installations. It deals with uncertainty in the field of identification (visual, acoustic..) perception. The video works of Nora Ruzickova produced in 2002 – 2005 thematise bodily experience as the basic source of our linguistic understanding of the world, as immediate foundation for handling other experiences, and as the primary and richest source of metaphor.

Allians/ce or aliens alliance project connects six artists from two „competing“ sides: so-called Kosicans – graduates or students of Art Faculty TU in Kosice (Radovan Cerevka, Tomas Makara and Jaroslav Kysa from Zilina) and, on the other, the so-called Bratislavans – graduates of AFAD in Bratislava (Erik Sille from Roznava, Erik Binder from Hnusta, and Mario Chromy from Bratislava, now living in Prague); in order to contest the theory about poor collaboration, and to highlight connections in the artistic community. A network consisting of three billboards in Kosice and three in Bratislava came out of a collaboration of „mixed“ artistic duos.

Exhibition Full Service Video examines the path film can take, not only its composition, but also its accessibility and technical setup.
Jakub Pisek will present an interactive video installation that is activated by sound. It also asks the question – to speak or not to speak while watching a movie?
The work of Mikulas Podprocky shifts more to a critique of content of mainstream film production. In his interactive animation he gives each viewer a choice – action, romantic/erotic film or drama – then has the Movie Generator create the film for the individual viewer out of typical film scenes. The originality and value of such a film corresponds to a number of today’s blockbusters, while production time and budget are incomparably more effective.
