Lubica Lacinova, a scientist, works with the physiology of animals and molecular biology. She studied nuclear physics, biophysics and artistic photography. She co-founded the Green Party and the Alliance of Women Slovakia. Lacinova is a member of the Society for Sustainable Life (STUZ), cooperates with the feminist cultural magazine Aspekt, the monthly Sedma generace and the weekly Mosty. She is also involved with photography and publishes both expert studies and popular articles on the internet portals www.changenet.sk, www.aspekt.sk, and www.ruzovyamodrysvet.sk.
