So Camus was travelling incognito. What else could he really do? If he 
had started to shout in the Brno train station "Je suis Camus!" people 
wouldn't have thought he was Camus, but that he was a madman. Certainly 
no one is a prophet in his own land, but even if nobody gives a damn 
about you in your own land, it doesn't necessarily mean you'll be
